Online Art Therapy for Individuals
Creativity is a powerful tool for improving mental health.
Research continually demonstrates the healing benefits of making art – in all its forms. With art therapy, no art experience or ‘talent’ is needed; just a willingness to try something new. Expressing yourself creatively can help you learn, grow, heal through trauma and better cope with life’s many struggles. If you have a diagnosed condition, art psychotherapy can also support treatment goals you already have.
ALOFT is a safe, trauma-informed, confidential and judgement-free environment where people are encouraged to express themselves creatively. This private practice supports community art-making, diversity and efforts to unsettle colonial practices across Canada.
One cycle of art psychotherapy consists of six, weekly sessions of 55 minutes each. These sessions are customized to your specific mental health goals. To discuss fewer or longer sessions, please contact admin@aloftarttherapy.com and start tapping into your own potential to change and heal through art-making.
